We are now into the third week since the lockdown, otherwise known as the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ). To be exact, we are on Day 20 of the lockdown since March 15, 2020. To date, 136 people have died and 3,018 have been found to be COVID-19 positive. This is a 12-fold rise in deaths (from 11) and 21-fold rise in positive cases (from 140) in just 20 days. PCSO to give P18M financial aid to 6 Bicol hospitals

LEGAZPI CITY –– The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) in Bicol will turn over P18 million worth of financial assistance to six government-operated hospitals in the Bicol region, Nelly Loyola, a PCSO official, said. LEGAZPI CITY –– A town councilor was hurt in a shooting in Donsol, Sorsogon on Tuesday morning. Major Jose Michael Aurelio, Donsol police chief, said Argel Hernandez was shot by an unidentified gunman while onboard his Strada pick-up in front of the Donsol District Hospital in Barangay Tres Marias at 8:15 a.m. Hernandez suffered a bullet wound on his right shoulder and was taken to the Bicol Regional Training and Teaching Hospital.
