COVID-19: Heart, Pia Show Support For Each Other’s Relief Efforts

COVID-19 – Kapuso actress Heart Evangelista and Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach have been encouraging in each other’s COVID-19 relief efforts.

The Philippine government has released billions to provide aid to the families who are greatly affected by the 2019 novel coronavirus crisis. they have also allotted money for the COVID-19 frontliners.

Earlier this month, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte said that the P275 billion is not enough. Good thing, Filipino celebrities are also doing their part to support.

Recently, Heart Evangelista and Pia Wurtzbach showed support for each other’s coronavirus relief efforts. The two update their fans about their relief efforts on social media.

In a previous article, Sorsogon Governor Chiz Escudero’s wife has donated vitamins to Grab drivers, healthcare workers, and security guards. Heart posted photos of the boxes full of Poten-Cee on her Instagram account.

Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach commented on Heart Evangelista’s post. She wrote: “It’s so nice to see that despite you battling your own anxieties you still have a big heart to look after others even in small ways. That takes real strength.”

“Thanks Pia…I need to rise above it. Stay safe, love,” Heart replied.

In a report, Pia Wurtzbach also stepped up amid the COVID-19 pandemic. She shared on her IG account that she has donated thousands of face masks to 15 hospitals. She’s also planning to provide N95 face masks for the frontliners.

“Another 15,000 masks today for 15 hospitals. That’s a total of over 25,000 masks… With your help we can start ordering n95 masks this time, which is an essential for frontline workers caring for COVID-19 patients,” she said.
